Configuring BIG-IP v12 on Viprion

Overview

This course provides network professionals with a functional understanding of the BIG-IP® VIPRION platform. It includes an overview of chassis, hardware options, Clustered Multi-Processing (CMP) and virtual CMP (vCMP) deployment options. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on labs and discussions.

By course completion, the student should be able to identify various VIPRION chassis and hardware options, perform an initial configuration of the BIG-IP® VIPRION system, and configure a vCMP host and guests. Additionally, the student should be able to monitor, administer, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks on traffic processed by the BIG-IP® VIPRION System.

Audience

This course is intended for system and network administrators responsible for installation, setup, configuration, and administration of the BIG-IP VIPRION System.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending Configuring BIG-IP on VIPRION, the student must have attended one of the following courses or passed the following exam: F5 Administering & Configuring BIG-IP LTM v12 F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator
